Let’s try to fit us all!

Spatial awareness is a great skill to learn.  It is also a great skill to push the limits on.  Today in our Movers and Crawlers room, one of my staff climbed into our climbing cube.  Shortly after, one toddler joined her. Then another and another joined her.  One toddler stood by watching this silliness transpire before her eyes.  The laughter and giggles were very contagious.

This was an impromptu activity, but it taught us soooo much.  We learned how to move our bodies in different ways to fit.  We developed our social skills by communicating so we could all fit.  We learned spacial awareness as we squished into this little cube.  We had soo much fun, next time we will try to fit more children…. LOL!
